*You enter a large hut, the smell of rot fills your nose, and fumes from nearby cauldrons drift lackadaisically about your face the cackling squawks of Roodaka fill the dark as her huge bulk lumbers towards you*

I feel Virroth trying to sway every member of this clan. His influence is strong, even with the Chieftain. I must be cautious and ensure the Lak’gora remain independent and impartial.
…and I believe I may have the answer I need. Roodaka seems sure that the blood of the Black Dragonflight may hold the strength needed to withstand any outside influence. What is more, the Apexsis seems certain there may be other things found within their caverns that could be of use to us. Even as I write this, she is drawing up the plans for a movement of the Lak’gora to Dragonblight in order to seek out these hidden treasures.
It may be time for yet another expedition.
*Shaddoth smiles to himselfs* Today is the day we go on an interesting adventure! But for what will it entail? How much energy shall we collect from this....dragon I have heard so much about.....
*paper is pulled from his pack, and he starts writing. the tree he stands by flickers with light as he has finished the parchment.
*Shaddoth writes a cover for a book* Yes.....this will do fine. All of the events will be collected here....I wonder if anyone else can read Demonic? *Shaddoth shrugs and walks back to his grothole, lays down and sinks into the mud.*
The young priestess observed the vial of blood. It was black as tar, yet it emitted a strange glow. She was unsure whether or not the bird was being honest about its properties or whether that was yet another one of its evil schemes.
Nimithriel sighed and thought to herself "While we have no trust amongst ourselves, nothing can be done against our enemies." With that she put the vial away and reached inside one of her glacial bags. With a grin on her face she took out a large round object covered in spikes - an egg. The muffled sounds of the fetus inside scratching against the shell interrupted the silence in her quarters. "And what shall we make of you, little one?"

Our second foray into the Obsidian Sanctum was a success. I collected a few eggs and another batch of blood. The eggs are merely an oddity at the moment but I sense they may yet be somehow useful to us. The blood on the other hand is very necessary…or it will be soon. However, there is still more that must be collected before we can begin the rituals in earnest.
Our work on other fronts continues unimpeded and so far the Lak’gora have been proving their worth to the rest of the Clan. We are still not fully trusted by all, but even that is slowly changing. Things are definitely looking up.
