Crunck’s Story

Crunck was boren in Nagrand just befor the Orcs became corupted by the demons.

He started to work for the Horde during the 3rd war as a simple peon choping down trees and mining gold and was stationed at The Den in Durotar after the founding of Orgrimar.
(yes he was a lazy peon from the quest in Durotar)

One day he sat down to catch his breath when some Troll came up behind him and cracked him in the back of the head with a black jack and laughed at Crunck telling him to get back to work. "Get back ta work joo lazy peon!" Crunck then picked up his work axe and pretended to work waiting for the Troll to go away. As soon as the Troll was gone Crunck turned around and walked to the nerest boar and planted his work axe into it's skull right as a Grunt patroled by and saw Crunck kill the boar and called to him

"You there Peon! Come with me"

Crunck fearing a beating beged and pleaded with the Grunt to let him get back to work.

"No Crunck get back to work no beat Crunck Crunck not want to be beat you let Crunck get back to work! Crunck keep working no more slacking Crunck do good! Crunck be good Orc!"
"Please Peon just come with me I..."
"NO! Crunck not want beating Crunck be good orc and get to work!"

"Ok Ok... Crunck is it? Hear this is some of my own food now if you just come with me you wont have to sit through another beating ever agen, ok?"

Crunck timidly reaces for the meat and follows the Grunt to the warrior trainer in the Vally of Trials.

"Hey Fang! You got a new recurit I think his name was Crunck." The grunt walks away sighing to finaly be rid of Crunck.

Fang takes one look at Crunck and gives him a new weapon. "This will do you better then that work axe peo... warrior. But lets get one thing strait: I am -not- your friend and I have no intenctions of being your friend under stood!"

Crunck nods lifting the his new weapon with ease asking "What Crunck do now?"

"Well you see those criters over there those pigs and bugs, go smash them and smash them good."

With a chuckle Crunck runs off yelling "CRUNCK SMASH!!!"

Shortly after Crunck joined the ranks of the Horde Grunts he was placed in Ashenvail. Crunck and his group were sent a a scouting mission were he got separated and wondered around for several days lost in the woods.

After a few days he collapsed from exhaustion. laying on the ground he saw a silhouette of a Tauren female standing over him. "You ok?" asked the Tauren. Crunck shook his head no and said "Cow lady... have food?" Treebears nodded and said "call me Tree". After a few days of Tree nurturing Crunck back to health Crunck came to view her as a mother figure. As Treebears was packing up her things she looked at Crunck and motioned for him to follow. as they Marched through The Barrens Tree would randomly point at something and say, "Smash." to which Crunck would draw his weapon and run into it yelling, "CRUNCK SMASH" wrestling it to the ground killing it.

they got about half way to Sun Rock Retreat they saw a Night Elf Treebears gave the order for Crunck to kill but Crunck just stayed there looking at the elf "What is wrong, go kill her Crunck."
"But... she not monster, she pretty elf."
"Yes she is pretty but she wants to hurt Treebears! You gonna let h..." Before Treebears could finish Crunck had already killed the elf and was yelling "CRUNCK SMASH!!!" Tree muttered under her breath "Twobears is gonna like him." and gave a big grin.

When they got into Sun Rock they walked into the large tent on the right from the entrance and met with Twobears. "who is he Tree?"
"I found him in Ashenvale nursed him back to health, he has been like a guard dog ever sence. And I would like you to train him Twobears."
Twobears lets out a sigh, "Alright Tree... I'll see what he can do."

After weeks of training non stop with Treebears healing them after there fights Crunck started gaining more muscle mass and speed. On the last day of there training Twobears called both Tree and Crunck in front of him, "Now both of you have been working hard, Tree *he places his hand on her shoulder* you're heals have become much stronger sence you brought Crunck here but you need to work on shape shifting better and faster. And Crunck you still have alot to learn but i have tought you every thing I can here, the rest is up to you to learn your self, good luck and take care of each other." with that he patted Crunck on the head and hugged Treebears and watched them walk off, as they were leaveing he yelled to them, "And if you get the chance find the Grin, you two will do well there."

Seeing the things Twobears had built even being aloud to build a small gizmo him self Crunck went to Origrimar to talk to the Goblin engineers about learning the trade.

Crunck found his way to the engineer trainer.

"You teach Crunck yes? Crunck have coin you teach"
"uhhh... sure... tell ya what, make me some dynamite and we'll see what you can do, k kid?"
With that Crunck took the copper, blasting powder and the linen cloth. Crunck bent the copper into the shape of a cylinder with a rounded bottom, poured the blasting powder in and then formed the top and wound the linen into a string and handed it to the Gobin.
"Crunck done!"
"Well, I'll be damned kid, you got talent yeah I'll teach ya."
Grinning and giggling with excitement Crunck started his engineering trade.

After training with Twobears Crunck was given some money to go to Ratchet and get somthing to drink. As Crunck approached the town the bruisers fingered there weapons hilts ready to end any fight that might break out.

Crunck had been in the inn for some time befor a Blood Elf warlock approached him.
"Hello there orc, you look like you could use some work and I have a job that would be perfect for some one of you're skills."
"You want Crunck to make you.... bombs."
the elf laughs "No my friend I want you to be the muscle for my organization, The Council of Seven. We will become somthing bigger than Horde and Alliance and I want you to join us."
"what in it for Crunck?"
"Gold, and lots of it, all you need to do is touch this stone, if you get dizzy and pass out, thats normal." he grins and pulls a stone orb out of his robes and gestures for Crunck to touch it.
As soon as Crunck touched the stone the room started to spin and he awoke later in a abandon house some were in the Barrens hearing voices from the mind link. At first it scared Crunck but after a few days Crunck learned to use the Mind link even tell the race of people coming into the link and leaving. One day a young Blood Elf rogue named Zalindea joined the mind link. Every week the guild had a meeting on a island off the cost of Trisfal and talk about goals and going ons in the guild.

Zalindae headed out to Council Rock, there she saw a gaggle of people. When she arrived there was a Sin’dorei Warlock talking to the gathering. Then her pointed at her and all eyes shifted to her, “Zalindae, we were expecting you, come to me.” She pressed forward and stood in front of the Warlock. “What are ye?” “I am the one who holds the key!” He brought forward a sphere of many colors. “Zalindae hold the sphere, you might feel dizzy or pass out, this normal. Just relax.” She started to feel dizzy and started to fall, next she knew there were big green arms wrapping around her. She looked and saw a young orc, then passed out.

She awoke seven suns later in the Brill Inn. She had an instinctive feel to go back to Council Rock. During her return there, she could many talking in her head. It was the Mindlink, it enabled the ones who touched the sphere to talk to each other, but there were some who had to ability to do so. She was one of them and the high priestess knew it and that is why she was chosen for the mission.

When she arrived back at Council Rock, Malfeitor ask her “How are you feeling? Been awhile since we saw you.” She responded “Me guess me been asleep since me was last here.” Malfeitor looked at her “You’ll be fine, happens to all those who have the gift.” While they were waiting for the meeting to start an Orc approached her, “Me Crunck, CRUNCK SMASH! Crunck take you to Deady Inn. Pinky feel better?” She looked at Crunck “Why thank ye, me be feelin’ better. Me be Zalindae or Zal as many call me.” Crunck flexed, “Me Crunck, CRUNCK SMASH! Crunck hit dwarf on head today.” Crunck lifted a dwarfs head and showed to Zalindae. “Hmmmm, that be nice.”

Zalindae saw something in Crunck, but couldn’t put a finger on it. He was a gentleman, but strong too, had a bit of smarts although none. She was falling for him. As time went on, they pass one another in different regions and Crunck would show her a head of another being that he had smashed. They talk about their adventures and at meetings talk extensively.

Seven moons had passed since their first encounter and they were talking to each other. “Crunck get this for Pinky Zal” Expecting another head of a dwarf or human, Crunck surprised Zalindae by giving her flowers. “Thank ye Crunck, they be beautiful.” With that she gave him a kiss of the cheek and they sat with each other during the meeting holding hands.

As Cruncks time in The Council of Seven went on several assassination attempts were made on the leader of the guild Jaelin, eventuly he went into hiding and fighting with in the guild broke out as people started pointing fingers. Crunck growing tired of it finaly left the guild met back up with Treebears and continued looking for the Grin.

Tree grining at Crunck said "See, I told you nothing good would come from them." looking at his face Tree asked "Whats wrong.?"
"Crunck miss Pinky Zal, Crunck not say bye."
Sighing Tree motioned for Crunck to laydown and put him into a light sleep, "Don't worrie Crunck, you'll see her agen."

Time went on Cruncks engineering had improved, he had just finished making his pet bomb and assistant GLaDoS and was working on a pare of goggles and a gyrocopter in Stonetallon when a Troll approched Crunck and Treebears, "I hear jo be looking for the Grin."
"Crunck have but who is Trolly?" Treebears looks up at the Troll but says nothing.
"Day call me Pokes. but enough wid dat, Gorfrunch tell me to come 'er and dat you two be looking to join dah Grin.
"Yes we were, what do we need to do?
"Be at da cave out side of Stonard in da swamps of sarrow in two days." with that he left.

When Crunck and Treebears reached the cave they were met by Grofrunch talking to the raid about battle plans and turned to face them
"You must be the newbies... We'll get you inducted after were done here, for now follow me."
After the fighting had stopped they met back in the cave were Treebears and Crunck were inducted into the Grin with a swift stool to the head and a sort talk.
