The human kingdom of Lordaeron secretly contracted a band of mercenary hunters to hunt down and destroy the clan. Vord was 7 when he was out hunting as a part of his clans rights of passage for young orcs when the mercenaries attacked and killed all of the Garuda clan.

Vord vowed vengeance on the mercenaries who killed his clan and began training in the wild in the ways of the Hunter. He used all of his cunning and training to track down and kill all of the mercenaries over the course of 18 years. After he had fulfilled his quest for vengeance, he realized that it wasn't enough, he had grown to hate the humans and dwarves for what they had done to his race. It was at this time he decided to travel to Durotar, to the new homeland for the orc race.

What he found there enraged him. The orcs of Durotar had grown complacent and lethargic in his eyes, unwilling to go out and destroy the enemies of the Horde. He left Orgimmar for the wilds. He later heard of the Blacktooth Grin from Huizopotl when he has hunting humans in the Barrens and Mulgore. He received his commendation as a Grin Raider following an attack on Southshore in the Hillsbrad Foothills.

He has infallible loyalty to his friends and clan members and has been known to risk his life to aid his friends, vowing never to loose another person again. On a few rare occasions, Vord has given those whom he regards as closest to him a weapon of his home clan, a small hunting kunai knife, to show he will always be there for assistance. His pet and best friend is Stripes, a Tiger from the Echo Islands.

"Peace is a lie, there is only Passion.
Through Passion, I gain Strength.
Through Strength, I gain Power.
Through Power, I gain Victory
Through Victory, my chains are broken."

((tell me what you guys think. it's still a work in progress seeing as i have a lot of ground to cover if people think i should put more details to his time in the wild.))
