The Return

Vord eased off his crutches for the first time in weeks and looked around the small room. It was a small circular room that Drak'nora had found a few days earlier when looking for a new safe spot to avoid the patrols. Most of the travelers that came to Ulduar saw the ancient city as a place to fight the guards and wardens, but Vord saw a place to train while recovering from from his injuries. He also saw the opportunity to keep an eye on the activities of Brann who was searching for clues to the origins his race under the city. But a strange feeling permeated the air, and as the dwarf delved deeper, it grew stronger. Drak'nora walked back in the room, casting a quick glance down the hallway one more time before closing the door. "They're shifting their patrol routes to the eastern side of the city, so we should be able to head back to base camp in another day or two." Drak'nora turned and looked Vord over and smiled. "Feeling better huh? I told you time away was all you needed." Vord laughed, "Time away from war? Blasphemy." "You're not the only one who needed some time off." Vord smiled, glad his time alone with Drak'nora wouldn't be interrupted by wandering guards. The floor shook violently beneath their feet and a low rumbling noise issued from the depths of the city and Drak'nora gave Vord a cautious look. "Vord, did you hear that too? Do you..feel that?" The presence in the air was stronger, giving it an almost unbearable weight. "The dwarf, he's finally stuck his shovel where he shouldn't have. We need to get back to the Grin. Sticking around here isn't a good idea when we're cut off from the others, but maybe capturing a member of the dwarfs royal family would be in the guilds favor." Drak'nora grinned at the thought. "Dwarf hunting? It's a Grin pass time."
