Dalaran, Two Days Ago, 8:00pm

He’d been tricked into it once again. His wife was a clever minx, and had trapped him into an argument once more. He sighed as he looked through the windows of the Greenhouse he’d been told to meet her in. Looking at all the people moving by on the way to the next thing on their busy schedules. Why here? Did she wish to make it public?

Sinderion sighed, and ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. Once again he was in an argument with his wife, Nymuea. He bit his tongue and muttered his true opinions in draconic as she once again scolded him for the lack of time he’d been with her recently. With silence finally filling the room he let out a single question.

“Well what do you want me to do?” cried Sinderion, utterly desperate for a solution.

“It’s not what you can do. It’s what you’ve not done. You’ve broken me two promises now to stay home instead of returning to your battlefield” hissed Nymuea, glaring at Sinderion.

“I don’t enjoy it! I’d rather be at home with you then on some wretched battlefield” said Sinderion, repeating the same words of protest he’d used many times.

“It doesn’t matter. Your never home. I’m having numerous problems, after I was tormented by the Scourge I thought you’d at least be there to support me” hissed Nymuea, turning her back to Sinderion.

“I looked for you for nearly three days without any sleep or rest. And when I finally found you… well you where wielding those dark powers. They go against everything I’ve ever stood for. I needed time to digest it” said Sinderion.

“Oh? You speak as if I wanted this. You know very well it was forced upon me. Every day since I’ve suffered for it. Bits of my memory missing, occasionally the echo of his voice in my head, not to mention the Scourge still freaks me out. I know I act as if I could take on the world, but you should know by now I get scared, lonely and tired too” complained Nymuea.

“Listen, love I know. And I’m sorry. But when I see you, you’re generally whisked away by some minor issue concerning your guild” said Sinderion.

“Perhaps. But my loyalty is to Lament foremost. It was before you even came into my life” said Nymuea.

“It wasn’t AROUND when I came into your life” Sinderion hissed in quiet draconic mutter.

“And I can’t have loyalty to the Grin? I don’t want to do what I do. I have to. The one time I ignored it Silvermoon was ravaged by the Scourge. Would I have made a large difference? Probably not but I just can’t know. Perhaps it’s paranoia… maybe now that I have a family I should ignore it. But what if innocence where to die because of me?” asked Sinderion,

“You speak as if you’re the only one fighting. We’ve fought our own battles” said Nymuea.

“I know you have. I wasn’t trying to say you weren’t battling your own enemies, it’s just I happen to battle mine farther away” said Sinderion.

“Then you’ll have to come closer. I’m not going to put up with it any longer, Sinderion. The long nights wondering if you’re alright, weeks of never seeing you and when I do never long enough. I’ve had enough” hissed Nymuea.

“You’ve had enough?! Every time I do make time for you some Lament lackey swoops down and carries you off on some ‘urgent’ issue. I’ve followed you, and your discussions are hardly what I’d call urgent. Every time I try to make time for you can’t for me” cried Sinderion in anger.

“Then you just happen to come at bad times now don’t you? The majority of the time I am free you’re nowhere to be found. So whose fault is that? I’ve had enough” growled Nymuea.

Sinderion opened his mouth to protest, but Nymuea swung around with her wedding ring in the hand.

“Who will it be? Which side are you choosing?” she asked.

Sinderion’s face grew pale,

“Why are you doing this?” he asked desperately.

“Because I’m sick of tired of this. We’re always to ships passing in the night and you know it” said Nymuea.

“I’d… always choose you. You know this… but I can’t just leave? You want me to just desert a battlefield? I’d be executed if they found out. A field officer just leaving to see the wife and kids? Have you ever heard of something so absurd” said Sinderion.

“Well you best find a balance. This is the last time I’m forgiving you, Sinderion. Break one more promise and…” she started, but wiped a forming tear from her eye, not wanting to finish the sentence.
Sinderion nodded slowly.

“I love you…” he said quietly.

“I know” said Nymuea as she exited the greenhouse.

Sinderion sighed and leaned upon the glass of the greenhouse.

“I suppose I’ll have to talk to the Warchief” he muttered quietly to himself with a long sigh.
