((This is a RP explanation of how the mechano-hog and other passenger mounts work))
GLaDOS displays the video on the wall of the inn for every one to see.
As it starts you hear GLaDOS' voice "Hello, on behalf of Crunck Co. Engineering I would like to thank you for purchasing your own Mechano-Hog, this educational video is to teach you how to operate and take care of your Mechano-Hog. First let us go to riding"
The projection shows a mechano-hog from the side.
"This is the unfolded single rider version of the Mechano-Hog, all Mechano-Hog units are equip with a hydrolic fold out passenger seat, this seat folds out from simple fliping a switch on the dash bored of the Mechano-Hog. When in the passenger mode a side car will unfold and hold ONE passenger, do NOT under any circumstance load more then one passenger into the side car."
The camera zooms to the dash bored.
"These are the controls to the mechano-hog as well as your Heads Up Display also called a HUD. The gauge on the left is your speedometer, that will tell you how fast you are going, the gauge on the right is it's stability gauge, this one is important!"
The camera zooms in on a small gauge that has a orange arrow and a green and red part to it with numbers from 100 to 0.
"This gauge defaults at 100, as the mechano-hog takes damage it will decrease to 0, when it is at 0 the mechano-hog will fall apart -do not worry- I can assure you nor your passenger will be harmed during this and your mechano-hog will simply return to its Fold-Up mode and fly to your bags were it will be able to be redeployed as if it never happend, this stability gauge will also recover its self when it is not sustaining damage."
The camera fades out and then goes to the great lift in the Barrens with a leper gnome staped to a mechano-hog.
"Now we will display what we ment by you nor your passenger will not be harmed when the mechano-hogs stability reaches 0"
The Mechano-hog starts to move at a fast pace toward the lift, it goes off and you can hear the gnome screaming as it goes over the ledge. The camera follows the bike on the elevator, when it reaches the bottom the leper gnome is still bound but unharmed, the bike in a small palm size box next to the gnome.
"Disclaimer, no Gnomes were intentionally harmed in the making of this video. This is also a good time to note that even when you as the rider or a passenger is slowed or immobilized by ether physical or magical means the mechano-hog will still be able to move at normal speed UNLESS the Mechano-Hog is the target of such things such as but not limited to a mage's Frost Nova spell. Now back to the dash bored."
the camera goes back to the picture of the dash bored.
"as you can see there are 2 switches and 2 buttons on the dash bored and 2 handle bars. starting with the switches from top left going clock-wise we have: Passenger seat control, this will fold up and unfold the passenger seat, only have the passenger seat out if a passenger is boarding or in the side car.
Top right switch: this is the kick stand switch, this is not to be confused with the jump button. This switch is for when you come to a stop, it will help you keep the mechano-hog balanced when at rest.
Bottom right button: this button will deploy the kick stand but in a much more forceful manner to convert your horizontal momentum into vertical momentum in layman's terms; speeder thing going left or right now speedy thing going up.
Bottom left button: This button is here for manual fold up and should only be used when you plan to dismount your mechano-hog.
Now for the 2 handle bars, these vertical bars are for control of the mechano-hog, push forwards on both to move forwards. Back on both to go in revers. up on one down on the other to turn in place. When moving forwards or backwards tilt left or right to turn in that direction.
